NEVZA Beach Oddanesand – success comeback after the pandemic

England an Norway dominated the first NEVZA Beach tournament in almost three years.

In the women’s tournament, two Norwegian teams met in one of the semifinals Thus, the home nation would for sure be reprsented in the final. Eightteenth ranked  Saga/Steinsvåg made quite a journey when they made it all the way to the final via 2-1 against Maaseide/Berntsen. In the final, they were not able to challenge the English team Munby/Grimson. Sweden got the bronze medal after an impressing match against the Norway’s second best team.

In the men’s tournament, the final was all English while the bronze match was all Norwegian. The top ranked Bello brothers won rather comfortably against the second ranked team Batrane/Bialokoz. Solhaug/Sunde beat Mol/Ringoen for the bronze medal.
